FHA Raises Loan Limits For 2018
FHA Raises Loan Limits For 2018December 18th, 2017
Higher limits for FHA loans mean greater flexibility for borrowers!
In high-cost areas, like San Diego, the FHA’s loan limit will increase to $679,650, up from $636,150 last year, and that means that buyers will have that much more in terms of the available mortgage programs designed to help them borrow enough to buy a home. The limit increases put FHA more in line now with Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac loans, all of which helps making mortgages more attainable, especially for those with lower income or having problems coming up with the traditional 20% down payment.
Every county has different loan limits. You can contact me for a complete list. I can also help you obtain information about all of the various loan and down payment programs available for you to take advantage of. 2018 could be the year you move into your dream home!
